Children's Work
Bishops' College Prayer Calendar
Welcome
Brunswick Baptist Church welcomes children of all ages. We meet on
Sunday mornings – learning and worshipping experience while the grown-ups
are involved in their own things...
We do all worship together in Family services a few times a year. Most
Sunday afternoons, you can find us at each others’ houses – and we even
get to go to church come Sunday evenings...
Some groups meet at other times during the week – there’s JAM Club, the
Youth Group
and Little People...
We have been involved in special events ... a routine of flag waving as
part of the City’s harvest celebrations in Kings Square, a trip to the
Forest for a barbecue, ...
There may be something special for our anniversary......and don’t
forget Holiday Club and our Nativity service...
You are welcome to join us as we seek to spend time with each other and
learn how we can be friends of Jesus in this world where there are so many
things to distract us.

“Safe To Grow”
Our Church has a child protection policy, based on the Baptist Union of
Great Britain document “Safe To Grow”. We have a programme of
police-checking our leaders.
Music
Most Sunday Mornings, we have our own time of worship – and this really
is our own...
We Play
Many of us have musical talents. We are working hard to develop our own
music group. Anyone who can play an instrument is welcome to join us.
Music is provided, but we expect you to practice at home.
We Dance
We believe that we should use our whole body to worship God. We rarely
stay in our seats... we may do the actions, but equally you may find us
running around, marching, dancing, or maybe just sitting around that
imaginary camp fire. No wonder it’s sometimes called “Wacky Worship”
We Sing
There are loads of great Worship songs available every year. We have
sung songs by Duggie Dug Dug, Ishmael, Dave Godfrey, Jim Bailey, and so
on. We use many songs from Spring Harvest Kid’s Praise, plus the pick of
older songs.
We even have some of our own songs, written by Trevor. You can hear
some of these on the Internet...
www.trevorlution.co.uk
...or buy one of the CD’s (the whole of the £5 price goes towards our
work)...
